Why AUVG
Compared, honestly.
Benchmarked against the leading tokenized-gold products — Pax Gold (PAXG), Tether Gold (XAUT), OroPocket, and oro.finance. Items marked roadmap/pre-launch are in build, not live; we don't overclaim — including where competitors are genuinely ahead of us today.

Where PAXG/XAUT win today
Real scale — PAXG alone is a ~$2.2B token with record monthly inflows, backed by a NYDFS-regulated trust company. Our answer: the same attestation cadence from day one, plus embedded-wallet onboarding neither of them offers directly, and a Binance listing on the roadmap.
Where OroPocket wins today
Small-bar doorstep redemption in India. Our answer: Augmont's physical network — refining, vaulting and delivery are in-house, redemption BRD in progress.
Where oro.finance stands today
A newer Solana competitor (Oro Labs, $1.5M pre-seed) with a simpler flat-APY leasing yield — but ~$0 TVL on DefiLlama as of this review. Worth tracking, not yet a real traction threat. Different chain/liquidity ecosystem than ours (Solana/Meteora vs. Ethereum/Uniswap).
Our edge
The only one combining self-custody DeFi, email-simple onboarding, LP yield, and an integrated physical gold rail (refine → vault → mint) under one roof.
A note on Strato Nexus — different category, not a direct competitor
Strato Nexus isn't a gold-token product like the ones above — it's a lending/stablecoin protocol on its own L1, where physically-backed gold (GOLDST) is one of several collateral types used to mint their USDST stablecoin, with yield coming from borrowing/farming rather than from holding gold itself. Live with ~$16.3M platform-wide TVL. Worth tracking as a “gold-as-DeFi-collateral” category, but not an apples-to-apples row in the table above.
